Casey James Live at The Lamp Theatre
On sale Fri. April 24 @10 AM
Casey James first captured national attention as a standout finalist on American Idol, finishing third and quickly becoming a household name. After years of performing in the Dallas–Fort Worth music scene, his breakthrough led to a major label deal and chart success with hits like “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” and “Crying on a Suitcase.” While the commercial country format brought visibility, it limited the full scope of his musicianship—particularly his expressive guitar work and blues-driven style—ultimately leading him to step away in pursuit of greater creative freedom.
That artistic shift paid off with his 2017 release Strip It Down, a blues-forward album produced with Grammy winner Tom Hambridge that earned widespread critical acclaim and introduced James to a global audience beyond country radio. He continued that evolution with If You Don’t Know By Now in 2020, further establishing himself as a soulful vocalist and dynamic guitarist. Whether touring solo, performing with his band Texas Hill, or working on new acoustic material, Casey James continues to push his sound forward—delivering authentic, roots-driven music that reflects both his journey and his passion.
