Lamp Theatre Kids Week: Broadway On Main is a FREE week-long performing arts camp for ages 7–16, held June 22–26, 2026 at The Lamp Theatre in Downtown Irwin. Campers will explore acting, singing, dancing, set design, costumes, and more while working with local performing arts professionals. The week concludes with a special showcase performance for family and friends on Friday at 4 PM.

Limited to 100 campers — registration is required.

Christopher McAllister - Technical Director

Christopher McAllister is the current Scene Shop Manager/Scenic Artist at Seton Hill University and is also the Technical Director and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. He is a freelance artist in the area working on many arts and entertainment projects, in and around theatre and music. He is a proud graduate of the IUP music department with a degree in Music Education with a minor in Organ Performance, which he uses every Sunday as a local church organist. He has enjoyed the many avenues that his career has taken, and has been proud to work as a choral teacher, music director, guest conductor, lighting designer, set designer, props designer, production manager, and executive and artistic director for local high schools and arts organizations. During that time, he’s worked on countless productions, collaborating with local professionals, Broadway artists, and student performers alike, and even helped set a Guinness World Record for the fastest production of a musical in 2019. Christopher is an advocate for developing and premiering new theatrical works (and lesser performed works) and has contributed to several new-original musicals regionally, including Local Singles, The Crinolynns, and Romeo & Juliet. This summer he begins work on a new audio/musical podcast endeavor with collaborator Greg Kerestan with The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari. He believes that theatre and the arts can change the world, and is happy to spread his knowledge and experience with excited learners!

Tina Lepidi Stewart - Costuming & Director Teacher

Tina Lepidi Stewart is excited to return to The Lamp kids camp for year two. When she is not costuming or directing a show, she can be found working at Planet Fitness in North Huntington or substituting at Hempfield Senior high school. Tina is very active in the theatrical community. She has worked at most of the community and. high school theaters in the area and has even performed in New York. Tina has just finished directing Shrek Junior at the Geyer Performing Arts Center. She earned her BA in theater performance from Seton Hill University, and her masters in library science at St. Vincent College. She loves both theater and teaching and tries to coordinate when possible.

Erin Seaberg - Acting Instructor

Erin Seaberg is elated to be involved with this wonderful camp once again. She has been involved in theater camps for the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, and Mon River Arts. Erin has performed with The Pittsburgh CLO, The Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Musical Theater, The Theatre Factory, Main Street Theatre Company, Mon River Arts, Heritage Players, and many more. Her next theater endeavor will be directing at the CLO Academy this summer, where she currently teaches. In her spare time she is a middle school science teacher and mother to Brody and Benjamin.

Sophia Laspina - Music Director

A 2024 graduate of Penn-Trafford High School, Sophia is the Kids Works Music Director for the first time! Sophia is a junior at Grove City College, where she is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Music Education, but she has been involved in music and theater her whole life. In addition to Kids Works, Sophia has also been a volunteer and Assistant Music Director for Gateway High School's Summer Theater Camps. At Penn-Trafford High School, Sophia has performed in many productions including Anabell/Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet— Together (and Alive!) at Last” and Rose Alvarez in “Bye Bye Birdie.” Other performances include “Working,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Little Mermaid,” and many more. Sophia is very passionate about the performing arts and is so excited to be working with Kids Works! Sophia would like to thank the staff for this opportunity and the students for all of their hard work!

Maurissa Auer - Dance Director

Maurissa Auer is a Greensburg native and a graduate of Point Park University where she majored in Theatre Arts and minored in Dance. She also attended Saint Vincent University to gain her Masters degree in Education. She currently teaches chorus at Greensburg Salem High School and is the proud Director/Choreographer of the Greensburg Salem Middle School musical. Previously, she taught at Propel Schools and was part of the Creative Arts Department. Maurissa enjoys working with students to foster their love for the performing. She is super excited to share her passion for dance with all the students at camp!
